Dr. Garland Retired in December 2014. He has been the Medical Director of the Joint Replacement Center at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Having been clinical Professor of Orthopedics at USC, Dr. Garland has extensive experience in bone disease. He has over 100 published scientific articles and book chapters. His expertise includes bone metabolism, fracture repair, osteoporosis, and heterotopic ossification.
